Biography
Illusionize is one of the most original artists in the current Brazilian electronic scene.
Owner of a unique, striking identity loaded with tons of bass, he's released several hits and likes to surprise the audience by always inserting new elements in his presentations: a connection between music, visual experiences and energetic presence on the stage.
The 25 year old production prodigy has a string of heavy hitting releases on DirtyBird, Armada and his own imprint Elevation – including his second full artist album, “X”.
Pedro Mendes AKA ILLUSIONIZE stands out as one of the most in-demand DJs in the Brazilian electronic music scene today. Known for extended sets that effortlessly shift between genres, his style defies labels. He sells out where he goes in Brazil. His sell out shows at the 5000-cap Laroc Club and mainstage slots at Rock In Rio, are proof enough of his status.
His impressive skills and infectious charisma behind the decks saw him perform no less than 160 shows in 2019 worldwide from Brazil to Vietnam, Ireland and The Netherlands. All of this combined has seen his organic following explode, creating demand for his original bass-heavy sets the world over with an almost cult-like following.
